If you don't know any Windows programming, I suggest starting with the tutorials at
http://www.relisoft.com  They are geared to using MSVC without MFC, but I have found I needed to make
only very small changes to get them running with the Cygnus tools.  Your other questions should be
answered in the FAQ, which was posted earlier today - if you joined the list just now you may have just
