Subject: | static MSVC library? |
I've searched through the FAQ and some of the archives, and found many references to how to make dll's with cygwin/gcc, and how to use msvc dll's in cygwin apps. I have not, however, found anything describing how to use a cygwin/gcc lib*.a STATIC library in a MSVC app, or how to use a MSVC STATIC library in a cygwin/gcc app. Are these things possible today? If so, can someone please point me in the right direction? I suspect the answer is that it can't be done. thanks, -jeff -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
