Subject: Problems with emacs

I am using WinNT.

When I use the >>gdb<<-Debugger in the Emacs the debugger has Problems
with
"^M" at the end at the command, which I type in.

This happens when I start the emacs from Desktop-Icon and also when I
start the Emacs from the Cygwin-Window (bash-shell).

How to work around the "^M" ?

When I start the emacs from the bash-shell and type "M-x shell" I get a
sh-shell and have the same problems the shell can not read any command
because of the "^M"-s.

Greetings from Berlin

Georg Fusz
