The VIDE developmenet environment has a very good vi
emulation included. It also has all the features
of an IDE - syntax highlighting, point and click
syntax error handling, integration with gdb,
automatic generation of makefiles from the VIDE
project definition file, and more. And your
choice of a standard Windows-style editor,
vi, or See. I'll add emacs or others if I
get any demand.
