Hello cygwin,

  Perl-compatible Regualar Expressions (PCRE) library by Philip Hazel
(ftp://ftp.cus.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/programs/pcre/)
compiles out of the box for mingw32, but I couldn't resist temptation
to dllize it and make package available, so other people don't
hesitate to put it in every proggy ;-)

  Precompiled version and patches available at http://www.infoservice.lg.ua/~paul/devel/pcre.html
(by the way, 2.06 features changed API).

  One particular application is FAR fullscreen shell (www.rarsoft.com)
plugin for interactive regular expression search/replace in editor
(http://www.infoservice.lg.ua/~paul/devel/pcresrch.html).
