setenv TERMCAP '<paste the linux entry from cygwin's termcap>'

or

setenv TERMPATH <alternate-termcap-file>

I'm not sure the latter exists in Solaris (FreeBSD has it, I remember).
Consult man pages (tset, environ, ...) for more details.
