Subject: bash and cmd launch differenlty?

Some applications behave radically different been launched from bash.exe
and cmd.exe. One example is msidb.exe which is a part of Miscrosoft
Installer SDK (flreely available for download).

Anyone know how to start from bash so application will think it started
from cmd?

Eugene.
