I think, we should put a note somewhere in FAQ that MIX is X11R5
compliant
and will not work with applications linked against X11R6.4 libs.  This
MIX questions kept poping up everyday.  One Cygwin user wrote to me that
he e-mailed to MicroImage tech support and they gave them "very
misleading answers" that is  * it SUPPOSED to work but they have not
tested it.*  
Techincally an application linked against a new X library will not work
on
an X-Server which is ancient X11 libraries compliant.
