Subject: | Fix for Out of environment space not working... |
I have installed b20 on a win98 machine and everything is working fine except when I launch a bash shell I get the "Out of environment space" message I read in the FAQ that adding the line to the config.sys file: shell=C:\command.com /e:4096 /p would fix the problem.... However, when I add this into the file and then reboot I see the same thing happening again! So I go back to the config.sys file and it is in its virgin state! Something seems to be altering my config.sys file on boot up...any idea what might cause this?? later dave z -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
