Thanks very much for your tip on WindowMaker. I can't wait to try it out.

By the way, I'm getting an error trying to compile ASfiles-1.0:

/usr/local/src/ASFiles-1.0/src/Ops.c:338: undefined reference to `mkfifo'

I know that mkfifo is defined in sys/stat.h:

int     _EXFUN(mkfifo,( char *__path, mode_t __mode ));

Any ideas?
