hi when i try ... slogin <my remote host> ... under cygwin it says ... Could not create directory '//.ssh'. ... and if i try ... mkdir //.ssh ... myself it says ... mkdir: cannot make directory `//.ssh': Invalid argument ... is the ssh problem the same as the mkdir problem and what is the problem ? oh, and what's the solution if there is one :) paul p.s. i have searched the archives and couldn't find anything AND i did see in the FAQ that ... Some programs can't deal with // pathname scheme in arguments ... but i believe that other people have got ssh going under cygwin so i feel (desperately) sure that there's a solution -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
