Hi, Lets say, I have a path: c:\longchardir\evenlongerchardir if I do now 'cd c:\longch~1\evenlo~1' in the bash, the prompt shows: //c/longch~1/evenlo~1' $ I would like to have //c/longchardir/evenlongerchardir $ in my .bashrc I have export PS1='\h:\w \$ ' to show the path in the prompt. is there a workaround ?
