Hi,
I'm a very happy cygwin user, but at times, I repeatedly get error messages
that drive me nuts. The error message is;
The instruction at "0x6105ab9c" referenced memory at "0x0a746b18". The
memory could not be "written".
Press 'Cancel' to debug.
When I debug in VC++ 6.0, I get
"Unhandled exception in bash.exe (CYGWIN1.DLL) 0xC0000005: Access violation.
And the debugger jumps to
6105AB9C mov dword ptr [edx+eax],edx
I'm sorry, but I'm mostly a user of cygwin tools, not a developer. So, any
ideas as to what might be going wrong? BTW, here's some more info.
> ls -l cygwin1.dll
-rw-r--r-- 1 544 everyone 456192 Dec 3 20:44 cygwin1.dll
> sum cygwin1.dll
45234 1
Thanks,
Dale Quigg
