Subject: Help with serial ports -- thanks!

Thanks for the serial port help. It turns out that the hardware
on the w95 machine was screwed up somehow. I tried an old copy of kermit,
and when that failed to work, rebooted the machine. Now kermit works,
and I can read/write
using open(/dev/com1), as per the docs.

Thanks again -- I'll certainly have more questions as I
dig further --
					Steve
