I've uploaded a patched version of libg2c.a (g77 runtime library) that
fixes a problem of using getenv in f77 code. 

To get the patch:

I've also updated the mingw-extra package used by Cygwin users for the
-mno-cygwin flag, as well as the MSVCRT add-on for Mingw.
