I always recommend it. However, you don't have to change the PATH at the DOS/WIN level. You can `export PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin:/c/winnt:/c/winnt/system32' for an example in the .bashrc file. This way you can have the best of both worlds. cygwin path first when in cygwin and the dos/win path first when in dos or windows. == - \\||// -------------------o0O0--Earnie--0O0o------------------- -- earnie_boyd AT yahoo DOT com -- -- http://www.freeyellow.com/members5/gw32/index.html -- ----------------------ooo0O--O0ooo---------------------- PS: Newbie's, you should visit my page. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
