There is no reason to continue this thread.

Let me speak for the whole list when I say that no one is interested in
hearing threats or admonishments.  That is not what the list is for.

I have read this thread from beginning to end and I am still completely
confused as to who said what and who did what to whom.

I do know that I saw some responses that were bordering on rude and that
is a shame.

When people try to help, it would be wonderful if they could do so in
a non-judgemental and ...helpful... manner.  You can't always make assumptions
about a person's knowledge based on their problem.  You also can't always
make assumptions about your own knowledge based on your own experience.
You don't know what you don't know.

When people ask for help they should be prepared to receive responses that
are not necessarily accurate or to the point.  No one is getting paid to
help anyone on this list.  Be grateful for the help that you receive even
when it isn't particularly helpful.
