Am I using tar incorrectly here or does tar under cygwin not work the same as in bash under Linux? BASH.EXE-2.02$ cd / BASH.EXE-2.02$ tar -xvfz /windows/desktop/emacs* tar: Cannot open z: No such file or directory tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now BASH.EXE-2.02$ ls /windows/desktop/emacs* /windows/desktop/emacs-20_3_1-bin-i386_tar.gz BASH.EXE-2.02$ pwd / BASH.EXE-2.02$ -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
