By the way, DDD debuger compiles out-of-box under Cygwin32-B20.1 with
LessTif 0.87.  Download
precompiled LessTif0.87 for cygnus from www.lesstif.org.

Before runing ./configure with --x-includes --x-libraries
and --with-motif-libraries
etc, you must type  at the bash prompt

export XM_LIBS=/usr/cygwin-b20/X11R6/lib  (or whatever your path to X11
and Motif is.

I guess configure script, in DDD, has a problem to finding -lXm under
Cygnus.  exporting the
PATH to X11 and MOTIF libraries before runing ./configure script takes
care of the problem.
