I supposed opening a serial I/O interface, e.g. via 'open ("/dev/com1", ...)' or 'open ("COM1", ...)', initializes the interface with the attributes selected with the setup window. But the driver is always set to any standard attributes. Why ? Is there any possibility to access the settings made with the NT SIO system setup window ?
