How do I change the default background color for bash/ls? PS1="^[[0;1;37;44m[\w]" ^^replace with actual escape here Kinda works (Dos98), but messes up with LS, which assumes that the background is black. - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
