To get pwd "working", put `set -P' in your .bashrc. This doesn't directly help the cygpath case, but at least you can then do `cd //d/tmp/b; cygpath -w `pwd`', even though it won't help in the `b.txt' case you gave. pjm. - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
