Well, I kinda know where to look for Unix/cygwin source...

But where are there sites where source code is available (clearly
labeled...the seems on windows sites to be no distinction between
freeware and freeware with source).

IMHO, freeware without source is often useless...

Seems the windowcentric folks don't believe in source.
