Hello,

Is it possible to invoke bash in batch mode, ie without console
window popped up?

I want to create a shortcut to a bash script which will not produce
(normally) any output to stdout or stderr. It would pop-up
a dialog box in case of error using an external utility
like xmessage in X11.

Any help appreciated.
