I've used StarNet's demo too.  For me, it works fine.  I used the demo 
version for a while but then lost it and went searching on the net to
refind the copy I had (rather than going back to StarNet's site).  I don't
know why I did it, but I'm glad I did because I found a copy of it out 
there without a timeout!  I don't remember where I found this copy in
particular but assuming you want to go through the exercise, you might
strike pay-dirt too!;-)  Of course, if you want to just buy it, I'm not
going to discourage you!:-)
