Does the -pipe parameter work? I realize Unix pipes are a little
different...

NTP uses this by default, but apparently there is no output from the
preprocessor when using -pipe, so the compiler happily compiles
*nothing* without warning or error, and produces no output....

I have removed this parameter from the makefile and immediately
got all my happy and familiar warnings...
Anyone else run into this before?

Thanks.
Sven
