When editing the command-line in bash, if the left arrow is held down for more than ~5 characters, a string of "[D" appears, due to some timing problem with the escape sequence. Is there a fix or workaround for this? -- Andrew Harris andrewsh AT netcomuk DOT co DOT uk - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
