According to the gnu-win32 faq it is possible to prevent the console
window from showing up by adding the string "-Wl,-subsystem,windows" to
the GCC command line. However, I get the warning from LD, "cannot find
entry symbol _WinMainCRTStartup; defaulting to 00401000", and the
console window keeps popping up when running the executable from
Explorer.

Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround? Hope that someone can help.
