Subject: Hummingbird Exceed XDK and gnu-win32?

We have the Hummingbird Exceed5 X server and the XDK, i.e. Xlib, Xtlib,
Xmlib, etc. The libraries are all dll's. (generated with MS C compiler)

Would it be possible to generate a gnu-win32 Xlib.a file (using the dlltool)
and link the Xlib.a library with gcc?

E.g.:
dlltool --as=as --dllname libX.dll --def libX.def --output-lib libX.a
gcc xclock.c libX.a ??

Is this possible? Can this work? (how to create the libX.def file?)

Thanks!
