While I'm no genius at C or C++ it seems as if Microsoft has indeed left some kind of documentation on modifying and otherwise manipulating regular shortcuts (a.k.a. shell links) at http://www.microsoft.com/win32dev/ui/shellnk2.htm and the same kind of info about internet shortcuts at http://www.microsoft.com/intdev/inetsdk/docs/inet3514.htm Maybe shortcuts would be faster than checking all system files? *shrug* - alex - For help on using this list (especially unsubscribing), send a message to "gnu-win32-request AT cygnus DOT com" with one line of text: "help".
