Iove just installed b18 on g:\gnuwin\b18 on nt4.0 server german version.

and made the following mounts:
e:                               /
e:\tmp                           /tmp
g:\gnuwin\b18\H-i386-cygwin32   /usr

e: is the system drive

I wonder whether my mounts are sensible, what to mount under /bin
or should /bin be just a directory containing only bash.exe under root-drive

some more info:

        in the dos-box
        set path gives:
                e:\winnt\system32;e:\winnt;g:\gnuwin\b18\H-i386-cygwin32\bin;
                        e:\gnuwin\b18\tcl\bin;c:\windows;c:\dos

        sh: echo $PATH gives
                /WINNT/system32:/WINNT:/usr/bin://g/gnuwin/b18/tcl/bin:
                        //C/Windows://C/DOS

sh does not show g:\gnuwin\b18\H-i386-cygwin\bin but instead /usr/bin

is it sensible and how to also mount /home, /usr/local

also mkpasswd, gives an option to generate either passwd for local users
or for domain users, is it possible to have local passwd in use when
i login as a local user and domain passwd when i login as a domain user.
I'd like to have a different $HOME for example then.

One more thing,

in a sh box i cannot enter \ , have somebody solved this problem already

Jerzy
