I've heard that in practice, the LGPL has not worked out well for commercial users. Although it's a big difference to us engineers, as far as lawyers are concerned, there is little difference between being required to ship .o files and .c files on demand, and so they just nix the deal entirely. ps. what are the terms for the license?
