i got the 2.4.2 from ftp.probe.net and compiled it, did some minor
tweaking, no problems, i ncftped to a site, mode binary, started
transfering, it works, did a gunzip:
gunzip: error file has no EOF format
stdin: error too
the way i see it, it's something concerning lf/cr or something not sure
but since i compiled it on gnu-win32 it assumed unix, hence when i
connected to the remote host, it did a SYST and got a reply UNIX so it did
the transfer for unix mode, did anyone solve this issue??
btw the file size was about 300k more then the real size of the file,
ftped by normal ftp from dos prompt, so a cmp could tell they are
different...
