Actually, Check out this place
http://www.fu.is.saga-u.ac.jp/~colin/mingw32.html
Instead of explaining I'll just cut and paste some text from the readme
file for mingw32

0. Before You Begin...
This archive contains the following basic elements:
* The header files, .def file and an import library (for GNU-Win32) to
make it possible to use CRTDLL.DLL as your standard C library.
* Source and the compiled companion library 'moldname' which makes it
possible to use the old names of non-ANSI functions without messing
things
up too much. It's not called 'oldnames' because Cygnus has a library
called
oldnames.
* Source, object code and a library (for GNU-Win32) to perform application
startup using CRTDLL.DLL (and KERNEL32.DLL).
Take note of this in particular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
* A specs configuration file which will enable the GNU-Win32 version of
GCC to use the previous components to produce Win32 applications
with no dependencies on DLL's or anything else not supplied with the
currently available Win32 operating systems.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
:-) I guess nothing is impossible ;-)
