This is what I got from the same test grantl:/usr/src/dialog-0.6c# cat <<EOF > Hello This is some text > EOF Hello This is some text grantl:/usr/src/dialog-0.6c# Is it just the cat program you are using?? Make sure you have a cygwin32 native cat.exe. Im using b17.1 on Win95 > The following is cut/pasted from a Command Prompt window under > NT4.0, using b17.1.
