If anyone's interested, I've done a dirty hack (clean port to follow
some time after Christmas :-) of "ssh", which you can get hold of at
<URL:ftp://ftp.net.lut.ac.uk/martin/ssh-win32/>.  For more info about
ssh, check out <URL:http://www.cs.hut.fi/ssh/>.

Newbie question:

Should fileno() and select() be working OK (- this with beta 17.1) ?
I've had to do quite a bit of fiddling to work around these...
