Hi all,

I just picked up bash (built on 12/6/96) and am having some trouble
with name completion. In my current directory it expands the first
name that matches, even though there are others that match. For
example:

If files in the current directory are:

foo_a.c
foo_b.c
foo_b.c

Doing:

bash$ ls foo<TAB>

will complete to foo_a.c

Also, after a directory is expanded, the next level won't expand
anything at all.

Are there some known problems in this area? Am I missing some setup?

TIA,

Doug Carter
