I've been able to build win32 applications on SunOS 4.1.3_U1 with
Cygwin32 Beta 16.   I haven't had time to switch to Beta 17 yet, but
Beta 16 works just fine for me - I have Win32-only and
Cygwin.dll-based apps running.
