DJGPP is a port of the GNU development programs to the MS-DOS (or compatible) operating environment. These utilities run in the processor's 32-bit mode, and produce programs that run in the processor's 32-bit mode. The use of 32-bit integers and pointers makes it easy to write fast programs that deal with large amounts of data or instructions.
