Minimum System Requirements

To run djgpp programs:

80386SX or backward compatible (80386DX, 486, Pentium, etc) CPU.
MS-DOS 3.0 or higher or suitable emulation.
Environments known to support djgpp programs (in dos or dos-emulation modes): MS-DOS 3.0, Windows 3.1 and 3.11 DOS box, OS/2 (including Warp) DOS box, Windows 95/DOS 7, Windows/NT, Novell NWDOS 7.x, Linux dosemu (not 100%).
512 Kb of DOS memory. Note that, due to paging, the system will appear to run very slowly. As little as 1 Mb of available memory makes the system much faster.

Recommended for developing djgpp programs:

2.5 Mb of available memory. Running "go32" tells you how much it thinks you have. DJGPP will use one of extended, XMS, expanded, or DPMI memory depending on what other memory managers you have loaded. 4 Mb is recommended for compiling complex programs.
