Found example on youtube there they wave solder circuit board with high current connectors so this should not be a problem for serial production, that is what is important, fighting the prototype once is less of a problem. If I got it correct it should be possible to wave solder all components in including the surface mounted components in one run thru soldering machine. Then thinking about it plumber solder copper pipes without a problem, there is much more copper but no board to damage. I still expect to solder some transistors, at least sometimes so the information about the pre heater is very intersting. Have a combined, heat gun pre heater and solder iron fron Stamos S-LS-10 but it was cheap so I do not expect to much from this one though the heat gun work great. If I remember correctly you worked as a service technician for many years, I once suggested we should to talk to service department about quality as I expected problems to show up there but think I was ignored.
