The tool windows were docked and covered.Once undocked, they work as expected. The version I used (1.9.0-on msw ) did not have docks. My suggestion would be, the tool-windows should not be docked by default. And if they must, then the docks must not be fully folded. > Roland > > Thank you very much. -- Parameshwara Bhat --00000000000070e0e9059f0488c4 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

That's a known bug for older versions of gEDA/gaf; upgrading to 1.10.0 =
should fix it.

Ok, that's a new issue.

Both actions you mention open and focus in on the corresponding tool
window; if it is docked and currently visible, this may cause the
impression that nothing happened.

Could you please verify this by checking that

1. actions which don't invoke a tool window (e.g., "Edit / Delete&= quot;) work
as expected, and

2. when closing the library window (e.g. by right-clicking on the title and selecting "Close") and then selecting "Add / Component..= .", the
library window is shown again?

Bang on. The tool windows were docked and covered.Onc= e undocked, they work as expected.

The version I us= ed (1.9.0-on msw ) did not have docks.

My sugg= estion would be, the tool-windows should not be docked by default. And if t= hey must, then the docks must not be fully folded.
