pcb-rnd allows multiple versions, i.e. --debug developmen= t versions, newer, older versions, etc, to be built and run from their own = trunk/src directories, but iiuc

sudo make install

Is n= ecessary if you want the system wide default to become the current build.

May= be I start to make a little bit to much noice. Had problem pcb-rnd is somet= imes very slow loading files showing dialog "clipping polygons" a= nd reached the conclusion this happens then I install pcb-rnd with package = manager in it's usual place + compile/install in /usr/local directory s= o that there are two installed versions.

Reached next problem gschem import use "/" for hierachy while pcb= -rnd make complaint "/" is invalid character also got slow loadin= g clipping dialog during import but not for save file. Found the file "= ;import_sch.c" and as it is just a few hundrew rows long opened and wi= ll try figure out why.
