I you encounter problems, just 'call'. Now I am running against a wall with security updates (12.2 is now at the bottom of the supported list) and my old Firefox (even ebay is now complaining my Firefox is too old). Upgrading Firefox requires upgrading my core libraries, which I fear would break the system. So, I am considering upgrading Slackware to the latest 14.0, hoping the KDE people fixed the problems in KDE4 that were frustrating me back then. From the feedback I am getting, it sounds like they made some major improvements since then and I should not have any problems with my legacy apps that I rely upon. Thanks for the help. Girvin
