I'd put the blinky stuff into the same tool and make it be an option. For what it is worth, I generally don't like blinky stuff but I included it in the graphical diff that is in the gerbv testsuite and also the pcb testsuite. I find it much easier to spot that tiny difference between two complicated images. So as far as I'm concerned, this is one of the few times where blinky is good. -Dan
