I would suggest everything work as usual except DRC know there should be a short in the star point. If short circuit point is a little bit fuzzy and not on the line end point it should be within there shorts between or other "close" errors are detected. Connection test should of course also check net is connected to start point but this could be done as usual. To start with it might also be better than nothing with a bug for short circuit at the start point so that an error is detected although it should not, then it could at least be used. I designed antennas in PADS and had to accept the design rule check errors. Nicklas Karlsson
