Depends on what you understand by "high speed". I did my first boards at 90 mm/min and it worked (with some patience). Then for a long time I ran at 200 mm/min. Now, with the new Mantis Electron I do 600 mm/min. A Gen7 board needs some 15 minutes for the isolation milling this way. Plus 2x 10 minutes for the drilling, plus 3 tool changes with surface probing at about 5 minutes each. http://www.reprap.org/wiki/File:Mantis_Electron_Milled_TSOP-28.jpeg http://www.reprap.org/wiki/File:Gen7Board_1.4_isolation_milled_PCB.jpeg The biggest problem I face is burring. It needs careful fine-tuning of the milling spindle to get burr-free results. Am 18.09.2015 um 08:59 schrieb Nicklas Karlsson: > The wood grow then in absorb water from the air. Humidity isn't really a problem. Wooden machines don't shrink and grow like a balloon, even less in the one or two hours a machining needs. Markus -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dipl. Ing.
