Stop me where I go wrong: 1. You don't use pcb 2. You don't care about pcb 3. All you care about is not breaking gschem 4. If you actually believed others don't want to break it either, you could stop your endless harping about toolkits vs. suits etc. The features added to pcb that improve integration have improved the usability of the framework *A LOT* for only very small changes (in the ones I'm thinking of all on PCB side). You don't use pcb so have no worthwhile input on this. You manage to be really annoying eventually, this is only possible because people do actually respect your opinion. I have a proposal for you: instead of reacting with general paranoia to any talk of changes or integration, keep track of specific proposals and object if they look like they're going to break something.
