I just converted around 40 from the http://smisioto.no-ip.org/elettronica/kicad/kicad-en.htm kicad module repository hosted by Walter Lain. They are now on gedasymbols, and should come up when the gedasymbols indexer finds them. They seem to be functional reproductions on casual inspection, but I'd be curious to hear of any issues with them. I need to fine tune the text flag insertion logic, as it is sticking a default flag in "blah" which can be safely ignored by users of the footprints until I rectify the code. I'd not tried doing BGA = footprints with the KicadModuleToGEDA utility, but then I saw your email.
I just converted around 40 from the http://smisioto.no-ip.org/elettro= nica/kicad/kicad-en.htm kicad module=C2=A0 repository hosted by Walter = Lain.

They are now on gedasymbols, and should come up when the= gedasymbols indexer finds them.

They seem to be functional re= productions on casual inspection, but I'd be curious to hear of any iss= ues with them.

I need to fine tune the text flag insertion log= ic, as it is sticking a default flag in "blah" which can be safel= y ignored by users of the footprints until I rectify the code.

Interesting, so Linear actually use both schemes then. Always good t= o
know what to watch out for!
