The only feedback I have had (from Peter Brett - thanks Peter) is that we probably shouldn't be installing sources into contrib/ directory without an infrastructure to build them; so my updated proposal is just to remove them from the installed file list (but retain them in the distribution tarball for now). I'll start work on this basis, let me know if that is a problem for anyone. /gde
